USB1.1 IP
  • The USB1.1 SPEC1.1-compliant IP core contains the functions necessary for building a USB function, including the following:
  • Use of DPLL to separate data from CLK
  • NRZI data decoding and encoding
  • Bit stuffing and bit unstuffing
  • CRC5 check, CRC16 check and generation
     

USB2.0
Device IP
  • USB2.0 device IP that can be incorporated into ASICs in the KS6000 Series (0.18 mm) and KS7500 Series (0.13 mm) standard cell processes
  • Comprised of PHY for a hardware macro USB2.0 device and software macro HS SIE IP
  • High speed (480 Mbps) and full speed (12 Mbps) are both supported; high speed is detected automatically.
  • A 16-bit general-purpose bus is used for the user interface.
  • Bulk IN, Bulk OUT, and Interrupt transfer modes are supported.
  • UTMI is supported.
  • Has passed the USB-IF authentication test
  • PHY is provided as a behavior model coded in Verilog-HDL, while HS SIE is provided as a synthesized net list.
  • Power supply voltage: 3.3V ± 0.3V, 1.8V ± 0.15V (KS6000) / 3.3V ± 0.3V, 1.2V ± 0.1V (KS7500)
  • Clock frequency: 24 MHz ± 50 ppm or 48 MHz ± 50 ppm (40 - 60% duty)
      

USB2.0
Host IP
  • USB2.0 host controller that can be incorporated into ASICs in the KS7500 Series (0.13 mm) standard cell process
  • Comprised of the following three blocks: PHY for a hardware macro USB2.0 host, software macro EHCI, and OHCI host controller
  • PHY for a hardware macro USB2.0 host can have either one or two ports, depending on the number of downstream ports.
  • The user interface has a master/slave 32-bit AHB bus individually for the EHCI and the OHCI host controller.
  • High speed (480 Mbps), full speed (12 Mbps), and low speed (1.5 Mbps) are supported; high speed is detected automatically.
  • PHY is provided as a behavior model coded in Verilog-HDL, while HS SIE is provided as a synthesized net list.
  • Power supply voltage: 3.3V ± 0.3V, 1.2V ± 0.1V
