K-MICRO (KAWASAKI MICROELECTRONICS) NAMES YUKIO YAMAUCHI PRESIDENT AND CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

 

Tokyo, Japan – April 12, 2005 – K-micro (Kawasaki Microelectronics), the leader in advanced yet affordable ASIC technology, announced today that it has named Yukio Yamauchi as its President and Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Yamauchi succeeds Susumu Hirano, who will remain with K-micro as a senior executive advisor. Mr. Yamauchi has more than 30 years of industry experience; he most recently was K-micro’s Chief Technical Officer.
